John's environmental education began in 1980 at a wildlife, forestry and sustainable agriculture college in Vermont, called Sterling College. http://www.sterlingcollege.edu. After Sterling, John conceived, owned and operated Green Thumb, a successful French Intensive Biodynamic vegetable gardening business in Cheviot Hills and Beverly Hills, California. John integrated Green Thumb into a solar distributor by successfully representing Reynolds Aluminum Building Products Company at the same time for domestic and commercial energy products.
After several years building his own company Green Thumb, and successfully selling solar energy, he moved into the entertainment industry, in an effort to propel the environmental movement. John began working in the industry at Sony Pictures Studios representing several exceptionally talented, Academy Award winning re-recording and visual effects artists. Over the years, John has closed over $50 million dollars in business representing the talent and facilities that worked on such films as What Women Want, Van Helsing, Cat in the Hat, Team America, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Holiday, No Country for Old Men. Most recently he closed $4 million in visual effects for Luma Pictures for the upcoming feature film; The Nutcracker. During this time he has worked with many talented advertising executives, feature film writers, producers, directors and actors. Combining these disciplines gives him a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics of interdisciplinary applications to environmental conservation, green business, entertainment and education. John, will lead the sales team and assist the marketing team in securing contracts with purchasers of machines, and distributors of our products, and create strategic partnerships and investment in Genesis.

Jon is a soil scientist and founder of East Coast Compost (ECC) a 20-year consulting firm that provides advisory services for biological soil management. ECC advises clients on biological alternatives to pesticides & fertilizer, compost production, and development of microbial products. ECC interfaces with a wide range of horticultural and agricultural professionals in both public and private sectors. In addition, ECC obtains funding for clients via research & development grants and provides training for farms & compost facilities on the production and use of bioinoculants. Jon's clients have included: the USEPA, Chesapeake Bay Trust, the New York State Department of Economic Development, University of Maryland and the Massachusetts Dept. of Food and Agriculture. In the last 3 years, Jon has help develop a bioinoculant, carbon based, soil amendment that has been very successful in field trials on corn, potatoes and soybeans. These trials showed 20 % increases in yield at rates as low as 7 pounds/ acre and mycorrhizal colonization increased over 500%. Part of the success of this product is that it utilizes activated carbon as one of the substrates for beneficial soil microorganisms. New product applications for greenhouse crops are currently being verified in a 2-year study at Virginia Tech University and BioGraules are currently marketed through the 14,000 distributor network of Pennington Seed Company.
Jon recently joined the EPRIDA team to continue this work with ECOSS charcoal. Initial studies have convinced him that ECCOS is superior to other carbons he has worked with and with added energy and carbon storage benefits, represents a technology that is much more economic for crop production. Within the EPRIDA team, Jon will be working to maximize the microbiological properties of ECOSS in order to have the greatest possible agronomic effects on plant and soil health.
Syl has been involved with environmental companies and new products for over ten years. He started with Dr. William Jackson of Colorado, that makes products for stimulating the bio-logical activity in the soil. He also has a livestock feed additive that will greatly reduce odors from manure, and will compost it so the manure can be used as a foliar fertilizer. This will also greatly reduce or eliminate the need for anti-biotics in livestock, especially dairy and hogs. He also has a liquid product that will aid in composting manure or any bio-mass. These products are organic and have an OMRI label. Syl also represents Inventek Colloidal Cleaners Inventek has a number of products that are made from all natural plant oils, are organic, and have nano-sized particles. Some of the products include a mosquito spray, mold removal, products that will dissolve hydro-carbons for soil cleanup, odor control -such as Hydrogen Sulfide.- and a few more.
Syl has contacts and is aligned with AgCert, Inc. Ag Cert is the world's largest ag carbon trader. Carbon credits will start trading in the U.S late 2008 or 2009. This is part of the carbon sequestration program that is being put together in Washington, D.C. He has put on many farmer meeting and was recently a speaker in Ocean City, MD to a group of Certified Crop Advisors in the 5 mid-Atlantic states.
After graduation from North Dakota State University with a degree in Ag. Education and a R.O.T.C. He spent 2 years in the Army as an Artillery Officer. He then joined the Melroe Company and was involved with the sales of their farm implements and the BOBCAT skid steer loader.

Dr. Tom Goreau, President of the Global Coral Reef Alliance, a non-profit organization for coral reef protection and sustainable management, and Coordinator of the United Nations Commission on Sustainable Development Partnership in New Technologies for Small Island Developing States. He has dived longer and in more coral reefs around the world than any coral scientist. His father was the world's first diving marine scientist, and he grew up swimming in coral reefs as soon as he could walk. He was previously Senior Scientific Affairs Officer at the United Nations Centre for Science and Technology for Development, in charge of global climate change and biodiversity issues. He has published around 200 papers in all areas of coral reef ecology, and on global climate change, the global carbon cycle, changes in global ocean circulation, tropical deforestation and reforestation, microbiology, marine diseases, soil science, atmospheric chemistry, community-based coastal zone management, mathematical modeling of climate records, visualizing turbulent flow around marine organisms, scientific photography, and other fields. He developed the method to predict the location, timing, and severity of coral bleaching from satellite data with Ray Hayes. He holds patents with Wolf Hilbertz for new methods for preserving coral reefs from global warming and pollution, restoring marine ecosystems, shore protection, mariculture, and non-toxic methods of preserving wood from marine boring organisms, termites, rot, and fire, in order to increase the lifetime of wood and decrease logging. In 1998 he and Wolf Hilbertz were awarded the Theodore M. Sperry Award for Pioneers and Innovators, the top award of the Society for Ecological Restoration. Dr. Goreau led developing country NGO efforts in marine and climate issues at the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (Rio de Janeiro, 1992), the UN Summits on Development of Small Island Developing States (Barbados, 1994, Mauritius, 2005), and the UN World Summit on Sustainable Development (Johannesburg, 2002). Dr, Goreau works with tropical fishing communities around the world to restore their coral reefs and fisheries, especially the Kuna Indians of Panama, the only Native people of the Americas who have preserved their cultural and political independence. He is also a hereditary leader of the Yolngu Dhuwa Aboriginal clan of Arnhem Land, Australia, that preserves the oldest creation myth in the world. Of Panamanian origin, he was educated in Jamaican primary and secondary schools, at MIT (B.Sc in Planetary Physics), Caltech (M.Sc in Planetary Astronomy), Yale, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, and Harvard (Ph.D. in Biogeochemistry), and is a certified nuisance crocodile remover.
